Season 5 premiere of 'House' does not disappoint

This is going to be short and sweet. I just finished watching the first two episodes of "House" (which comes back Sept. 16 on Fox) and was blown away by the quality and depth of the storylines, both medical and personal.

We all know that House and Wilson were on the outs after Wilson's girlfriend, Amber, died in the season finale. Well, after two episodes, they're still very much "not friends," as Wilson politely put it. We learn more about "Thirteen," and her deal with Huntington's. We learn Chase and Cameron's roles within the group, although I'm still disappointed with the small amount of screen time and significance they have on the show. We find out about Cuddy and how she lures House and Wilson to be at least cordial to each other, because we all know Cuddy needs Wilson to survive House. Best of all, we learn through House's desperation (aka hiring a private investigator) how much he is willing to pay to find out what Wilson is doing without him.

It'll be another few weeks until we're fully engulfed in House's fucked up world, but here's a teaser to tide you over. (Perfect song, by the way.)
